DECEPTION
Food and Deception are not typically thought of correlating to each other. That honor is usually bestowed to Politicians and Deception. Nevertheless, deception is a huge part of the food industry and even more so for the fast food industry.
The fast food industry uses deception in order to boost their profits by portraying their food as not-that-bad or healthy. For example, a fast food company may boast about the quality of its cuts of meat for its burgers. However, they may quietly omit the unhealthy methods that are used in order to preserve the meat. Therefore, while it would be completely true that they use premium-cut beef, its product would not be healthy or even not-that-bad.
The fast food industry very commonly uses trigger words or phrases in order to persuade you, their prospective customer, to eat its products. How does it work?
Do you typically associate the word trans-fat as good or bad? Most likely, you would interpret trans-fat as a bad thing, and you would be correct. Therefore, fast food companies would not boast a high trans-fat because that would deter you from eating their product
Now, do you typically associate the word organic as good or bad? Good, right? Therefore, fast food companies would boast having organic foods.
So, are you more likely to buy a food labeled:
an organic burger or a burger?
Probably, the organic burger, right? So, even if the second burger contained better ingredients, you would be much more likely to select the first choice over the second choice. Why, simply because of the way the food was advertised. Our thought process is organic equals healthy equals don't need to read anymore because it's healthy. Unfortunately, the fast food industry takes full advantage of your superficial, trusting, naive, and instinctive decision making in order to sell you their product.
How does ROG eliminate this deception? ROG obliterates this deception by bypassing the fast food industry lies of omission. Your thought process with ROG is red leads to unhealthy leads to end of story. That's it.
So are you more likely to buy a food labeled:
an organic burger or a burger
The second option, right? No more deception.
Let's ROG it!
